Beliefs and Mission

Our Beliefs
Beliefs of The Daily Way of the Nazarene Christian Ministry
Holy Scripture
We believe that the trusted Word of God in the Bible is the basis of our living within the Way of Jesus Christ. It teaches us how to live and how to walk through the narrow gate as described by Jesus.
God
We believe that Jesus Christ (the Son) is the incarnation of the Most High God and that, upon the departure of Jesus, He left us all the gift of the Holy Spirit within us to teach us all things and to remind us of what Jesus said. We believe in the Triune nature of God: That the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit are manifestations of the same Most High God.
Sin and Deliverance
We believe that we sin when we are not following Most High God’s guidance for us. We believe that all of us are subject to sin. We believe that we can become less sinful and more obedient to Most High God over time. We believe this process requires that we acknowledge our sins to Most High God and then pray to Him for the healing and delivering from sin. We Must ask for guidance on how to correct our sinful ways through prayer with the Holy Spirit, journaling, and obeying the guidance that we receive. We also place importance in following the foundational guidance written in the Holy Scripture. Lastly, we rely on the Body of Christ, our congregation, to help us each on the journey towards becoming more like Jesus over time.
Christian Living
As a Christian, we love and adore God with all our hearts and minds and souls. We love our neighbors by obeying guidance from Holy Spirit on how to serve them. We live our lives in accordance with guidance from Holy Scripture as well as moment-to-moment guidance from Holy Spirit. We obey the Ten Commandments and Jesus’ commandment to love our neighbors as we do ourselves. We constantly seek - through prayer to Most High God in the name of Jesus - to “clean the insides of our cups” and deliver us from sins, demons, addictions, and strongholds as well as emotional, mental, verbal, and physical actions that do not serve the Most High God. The Holy Spirit is alive in all of us and we are given the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit to serve God as a part of the Body of Christ.
About the Future
We believe that the meek (those who obey God) shall inherit the Earth. Jesus prays for this. We also believe that we are to bring Heaven to Earth individually by asking God to clean our insides out of all things that do not serve Him, taking guidance from Him, and then acting on that guidance. We believe that when the Body of Christ brings Heaven to Earth, then Jesus Christ returns to rule.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help all Christians (regardless of denomination) who wish to get closer to God by providing scripture based training on daily religious practices that bring us more and more cleaned of sin and more and more obedient to God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
